Give Local York Stretch Pool

Through our signature fundraising event, Give Local York, the largest day of giving in York County, PA, we help hundreds of nonprofits raise unrestricted funds and connect with new donors, all while providing training and support on storytelling, marketing, donor engagement and stewardship. In the five years since its founding, Give Local York has united our community, raising over $20 million for local nonprofits from tens of thousands of donors from all over the region, the state, the country, and the world.

Stretch Pool funds will be shared by all participating nonprofits receiving donations during Give Local York. The Stretch Pool will be distributed based on the number of unique donors to each organization, rather than by dollars raised. If your organization’s unique donor count is 1% of all unique donors across the organizations participating in Give Local York, then your organization will receive 1% of the stretch pool. We hope this new approach will continue to encourage organizations to invite and welcome new donors into our community of generosity.
