We have served together in Young Life for 9 years, Tyler for 11 years! In highschool, Tyler experienced the life changing effect this ministry has by introducing adolescents to Jesus and it changed the trajectory of his life and our future as a family!
Our roles in volunteering have shifted throughout the years but we began as leaders for our local middle school students where we entered their world, and focused on what matters to them – fun, adventure, friendship, and a sense of significance. In doing so, leaders, like us, earn the privilege of talking to them about something we think matters most of all – the truth about God and His love for them.
Summer camp is a week kids will never forget for the rest of their lives – experiencing God’s love in a place made just for them. Every aspect of this camp strives to allow kids to clearly see and hear the good news of Jesus Christ as they are loved and served with excellence all week.
One of the biggest barriers for kids to attend is financial. So, we have decided to help fundraise in order to lift that barrier and gift kids the opportunity to experience this for themselves!
In order to make this possible, we have set a goal to raise $2,000 to give our adolescent friends who are in financial need. Would you partner with us in prayer and/or financial support to positively impact the lives of our York friends?
