Every year, SCORE Susquehanna Valley helps hundreds of entrepreneurs achieve their goals, 
to start and grow small businesses in our area.

For over 60 years, SCORE has been a driving force behind small business dreams. In Susquehanna Valley, we believe that a thriving local economy starts with supported, confident entrepreneurs. SCORE supports those entrepreneurs by providing expert, no-cost mentoring to anyone looking to start or scale a business. SCORE is able to provide these critical services, completely free with the backing of community champions like you.

Our Impact

In the past few years, local SCORE clients have started 454 new companies and created 523 non-owners jobs.

How do we do this? 

Every year, SCORE volunteers help thousands of entrepreneurs start small businesses and nonprofits and achieve new levels of success in their existing organizations. SCORE helps them achieve their goals through our mentoring and training. That success not only affects the business owner, but also the communities where they live and work... like York. 

SCORE volunteers give back to our community, connect with fellow business owners, and pass on our knowledge and expertise to the next generation of local entrepreneurs.

Through dedicated business people who volunteer their time and provide expertise in numerous industries, to provide FREE mentoring, training resources, and workshops for a diverse group of individuals.

While our mentors volunteer their time, reaching those 570 clients takes resources. Your financial support directly funds our operational backbone—including educational workshops, community outreach, and the technology needed to connect mentors with clients.
