For generations, YWCA York's pool has been where our community learns, grows, and thrives. It's where toddlers discover the water for the first time — and where their grandparents find a low-impact workout that keeps them moving. It's where teenagers compete on an award-winning synchronized swimming team, and where new lifeguards train to protect swimmers at pools across York County.

The YWCA pool is more than an amenity. It's a resource that belongs to the whole community — and we're committed to keeping it that way.

But here's the reality: maintaining a pool is expensive. Chemical treatments, mechanical upkeep, staffing, and safety equipment add up quickly — and the fees we collect for aquatics programming cover only a fraction of those costs. Every year, YWCA York bridges a significant gap to keep this facility open, accessible, and safe for everyone.
