Chloe Gilbert's Fundraising Page

Hi, I’m Chloe, a junior nursing major at York College. I have been a volunteer leader with Young Life York College for the past year and a half and now have the opportunity to step onto student staff!

I grew up in the church, but it wasn’t until college that I truly began to understand what it meant to follow Jesus personally. As a freshman, I got involved with Young Life and found a community of authentic friends who were pursuing Jesus and doing life together. During my sophomore year, I made the decision to begin my own relationship with Him. Throughout that time, my friends and leaders walked alongside me during some of the most challenging seasons of my life, constantly reminding me of the hope and identity I have in Christ. 

Soon after, I had the opportunity to step into a volunteer leadership role with Young Life. I’ve always loved caring for people, and this role has challenged and grown me in new ways—deepening my relationship with the Lord while inviting others to do the same. Over the past 1.5 years, God has given me a genuine love for these students and has taught me daily dependence on Him. 

Now, I’ve been given the opportunity to step into a Student Staff role with York College Young Life. In this position, I’ll continue serving on the team, building relationships with college students, developing new leaders, and helping strengthen the ministry on campus. I’m expectant and excited to see how God will move, and I would love to invite you to partner with me and Young Life in this mission.
