Since our beginning, I've had the privilege to guide SNHA's dedicated staff and civic board leaders on a mission of storytelling, place-based education, and partnerships that deepen people’s connection to our region. Rooted in deep expertise and a profound connection to our area's historic and scenic landscapes, we help residents and visitors experience the rich, nationally important stories that shape our home. We steward this legacy so what we’ve learned can impact and be passed on by generations to come. 

Your gift today help hundreds of local school children learn about history and the environment at the Zimmerman Center and Columbia Crossing. It helps care for our historic Chief Uncas tour boat and welcome thousands of kids and families aboard to experience the Susquehanna up close. It helps us guide folks from near and far to the cultural and natural wonders spread across our area's landscape and communities. And your generosity will help us transform the historic Mifflin Farm near Wrightsville into a world-class history center, river art museum, and heritage park - a new place to share our region’s amazing stories.

Our State and National Heritage Area covers all of York and Lancaster counties, with over 200 historic sites and outdoor recreation opportunities. These places renew, refresh, and inspire us. They connect us to our place in the larger stories of nature, history, and community. With your support, we help ensure these places endure for future generations.

As we expand our regional impact through new programs, events, and places for learning, we increasingly rely on the generous support of people like you.
