We believe the arts can uplift the spirit and warm the soul. There are many way to receive the arts in this day of electronic instant gratification. Yet the live stage brings us face-to-face with the aspirations of men, women, boys & girls who put their heart into their work. A lifetime of memories await you in Hanover... from local community theater groups and dance schools to National Touring Performances.

Mission

The mission of the Eichelberger Performing Arts Center is to provide cultural enrichment for our youth and adults within and beyond our community through quality entertainment, educational experiences, and opportunities for personal involvement in a broad spectrum of performing arts.

The Eichelberger building is surely one of Hanover's most beautiful and recognizable buildings. Now over 100 years old, and is listed on the National Register of Historic places in Pennsylvania.

Currently, the Eichelberger Performing Arts Center uses nearly a third of the entire building. In addition to the theater, it has restrooms, dressing rooms, storage, an administrative/box office, 3 rehearsal halls, and the Conservatory.

Since the restoration of the Eichelberger Performing Arts Center in fall of 1997, most of our equipment in the building has reached its life expectancy, such as lighting. It is through donations such as yours, we can continue to bring the arts to our community.
