Hoke House Wilson Tavern Inc

The Hoke House Relocation Project exists to preserve the structure which has been part of Pennsylvania history before the 1750s. The Hoke House sits along the roundabout on Route 116 in Spring Grove. It made Preservation Pennsylvania’s 2017 list of most endangered historic resources.

A committee has been working since February 2023 to create an action plan to preserve, relocate and renovate the historic structure. The action plan includes the efforts of dedicated community members that have secured a land donor, a house and building moving company and are now working on fundraising to ensure the success of the project.
