House Of Hope York PA

At House of Hope, we believe that God’s light breaks through the darkest seasons of a young girl’s life. Every day, we witness His healing, His guidance, and His restoration at work within our home.

During Give Local York, we are asking you to help us Light the Way—to shine Christ’s love into the lives of the girls we serve. Your gift enables us to provide light and love to each young woman toward hope, stability, and a future filled with purpose.

Together, we can reflect on His light and brighten the path forward for every girl who comes through our doors.

House of Hope York, PA is a nonprofit, biblically based, program that offers a residential home for teen girls , as well as counseling services for families, individuals, and couples.

Our goal is to provide healing and restoration through individual and family counseling combined with education, recreation, life skills, and spiritual growth.

In a counseling session, a young girl was asked about her progress, “With God’s help and the HOH staff… I’m getting there.”

I was a very angry, sad person. I thought my life was too far gone to be truly be happy ever again. I went into House of Hope York, determined never to change. But God...God was determined to show me how much I wanted to change.

We reached out for help with our daughter after she had been dealing with depression, self harm and acting out after some bullying and also being taken advantage of sexually. Being part of the House of Hope York family taught me a lot about how to be a better parent, wife and most importantly, how to be a better woman of God. Through what I learned in the parenting classes and counseling, I was able to better align myself with what God's plan and purpose was for me.
