Following an act of kindness between two strangers on Good Friday morning 2023, Kindness Worldwide Inc. formed as a grassroots collaboration to unify communities and ecosystems around the worthy and nurturing aspects of kindness. See “Our Opportunity” and “Our Story” videos at top and middle of website homepage www.KindnessWorldwide.org for context

A designated tax-exempt 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit organization, Kindness Worldwide incorporates an innovative ecosystem model with a vision “to create a culture of kindness in communities throughout the world.” Kindness Worldwide is engaging with like-minded individuals and brands eager to be visible in supporting this meaningful vision.

Our near-term efforts are focused upon 3 pillar initiatives in need of support: Kindness Week Worldwide, Champions of Kindness, and an impactful documentary film “For Such a Time as This” that favorably showcases York County, PA on the global stage with the power to change and save lives while uplifting the hearts of all.

Our signature initiative, Kindness Week Worldwide, inspired a global movement that is spreading to communities in multiple states and countries throughout the world. This meaningful 8-day week mobilizes individuals, academic institutions, businesses, faith-based and service organizations, community supporters, and ecosystems to promote and display kindness in imaginative ways. Its magical elements include the issuance of Kindness Citations by law enforcement, community distribution of “See the Good” and “Be the Good” Kindness Cards, blood donation as a symbolic means of paying it forward, formal recognition by governing bodies via Proclamations/Resolutions, and more!

Our proven model for Kindness, including video footage, imagery, and inspirational stories, is readily evidenced on our Website and social pages including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.

The epicenter of the global movement? York, PA - thought by many to be the nation’s “First Capital” as the home of the 2nd Continental Congress where the nation’s first constitution, the Articles of Confederation, was adopted on November 15th, 1777. Today it is the home of Kindness Worldwide, and as the first city and county to formally recognize Kindness Week Worldwide in November 2023 enables it to proudly proclaim itself as the “Capital of Kindness.” As the global movement inspired by Kindness Worldwide continues to broaden, this distinction positions York to gain in prominence and leverage accordingly for its betterment.

Kindness Worldwide believes Kindness is a choice that should be universally encouraged, recognized, rewarded and celebrated as a primary means of human unification regardless of ethnicity, creed, personal identity, faith, politics, nationality, or other affinity factors.
