South Eastern Community Education Foundation

The South Eastern Education Community Foundation was started in the first years of the twenty-first century to promote educational excellence in the South Eastern School District Community.  We receive EITC funding and this is our second year participating in Give Local York. 

Seven local non-profit organizations are joining forces to participate in our annual Stewartstown Block Party on Friday, May 2, 2025. On behalf of all of the participating community non-profits I’m writing to ask that you consider making a donation that celebrates your business that would be used as a prize to motivate community members to visit the various stations to learn about the mission of our respective organizations. A gift card for your business, or other “swag” that advertises your business would be helpful donations for our cause. 

In addition to SECEF, the other participating groups include: The Stewartstown Senior Center, the Mason Dixon Public Library, HOPE, Dollars for Scholars, The Stewartstown Food Bank and Affordable Housing Advocates. This annual Block Party is held in conjunction with the Night Market and the Give Local York fund drive with the goal of raising money that will provide financial support to these organizations that provide such critical services to our community. We also believe that this event will provide an opportunity to inform the public about the role our organizations provide. The Block Party will be held on the front lawn of Stewartstown United Methodist Church. We would love to see you there!
