The Southern York County School District Foundation, an organization led by a group of dedicated community volunteers, has a unique partnership with the District, that has been very beneficial for students. The Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, that provides scholarships, projects, equipment, and supplies to help children succeed in school and in their future.
Several projects that the Foundation has partnered with the District on include providing the resources to address the basic needs of our children, including providing students with school supplies, clothes, lunches, and eyeglasses through the welfare program.
The Foundation’s goal is to continue to add programs to help meet the needs of the community’s students. The Innovative Grant Program was developed as a collaborative partnership between students, staff, and the Foundation. This program provides funds for authentic learning experiences for our students.
