Founded in 2024, the Southern York County School District (SYCSD) Orchestra Boosters, located in Glen Rock, Pennsylvania, is a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the musical education of orchestral students in a semi-rural public school district. We serve the orchestra students in all five of the schools of Southern York County - Susquehannock High School, Southern Middle School, Southern Elementary, Shrewsbury Elementary, and Friendship Elementary. Our goal is to supplement the musical needs of our young musicians.

In cooperation with the Directors of the Orchestras and the Administration of the Southern York School District, the SYCSD Orchestra Boosters shall encourage and assist all orchestras in the Southern York County School District including the Susquehannock High School Orchestra, Select Strings, and Quartet, as well as the Southern Middle School Orchestra and all Elementary Schools' Orchestral programs. The SYCSD Orchestra Boosters provides funding to help the SYCSD Orchestra students participate in orchestral activities outside of normal school activities.
