At York Academy Regional Charter School, students don’t just learn, they discover who they are and who they can become. As a tuition-free public charter school and the region’s only International Baccalaureate® (IB) World School offering the full continuum, we provide an education that challenges students to think deeply, ask questions, and see the world through a global lens.
Learning here goes beyond the classroom. Students explore real-world issues through hands-on experiences, engage in meaningful community service, and apply their knowledge in ways that make an impact. At the same time, our music, visual arts, and creative programs give students the space to express themselves, build confidence, and find their voice.

The York Academy Regional Charter School provides a tuition-free, K-12 education that prepares students to think critically, act with purpose, and succeed in college and beyond.
Through the globally recognized International Baccalaureate (IB) framework, students are challenged to inquire, create, and grow, developing the skills, confidence, and perspective needed to thrive in an ever-changing world. Our high academic standards are paired with innovative programs in the arts, sciences, and design, all within a supportive community where every student is known, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
The York Academy Foundation supports this mission by expanding opportunities that enhance the student experience and help ensure every learner has access to meaningful, life-shaping experiences.
