Covenant House PA serves youth under 21 experiencing homelessness as we know it today, or surviving human trafficking, with absolute respect, relentless support, and unconditional love. The funds raised will go directly to provide a low-barrier safe heaven, shelter, and trauma-informed comprehensive services that empowers youth to aspire to brighter futures they deserve. Since 2016, our Sanctuary Program in York, PA has served the at-risk youth across the region, providing basic needs (shelter, food, clothing, and showers), street and school outreach, case management, plus educational, vocational, and workforce development support. The program currently offers 10 shelter beds for youth 21 and under, with a Drop-In Center and dedicated Outreach team. Our Staff refers youth to additional local resources such as physical and mental health services, drug and alcohol counseling, and legal services.
