We spend every day putting a name and a face to the 43,900 York Countians without health insurance. Every Day we hear their stories and share in their burdens, as we care for them physically, mentally, and spiritually.

These words are repeated countless times each week here at Katallasso. They are both heard and displayed as we provide quality care to people in their most desperate need. Through word and deed, our staff and volunteers proclaim this beautiful message while caring for people in times of vulnerability. Each day, our hope and prayers are simply this: that every patient will leave our clinic convinced they are valued, cared for, and loved. 

It is breathtaking to see the lives of our neighbors transformed as they receive vital care that they have deferred for years due to various barriers. With God’s help, YOU are removing those obstacles. And in place of hindrances, you are providing HOPE.

Katallasso (Greek: reconciliation) is a faith-based family health clinic located in the heart of York City. We set out twelve years ago to meet people in their physical and spiritual needs by providing no-fee healthcare delivered by the very best volunteer providers in York. Over the past ten years, we have grown to 37 volunteer medical providers who generously give their time to serve many who would not receive healthcare otherwise. We now care for nearly 4,400 patients, including over 22,000 patient visits since we opened our doors. In addition to primary care, we offer an eye clinic and professional counseling to our patients, all at no cost, thanks to the community's generosity.

We are profoundly grateful for the wealth of generosity from the community, which truly enables this impact through the ministry of care at Katallsso.
