Leg Up Farm

Leg Up Farm’s Equine Assisted Psychotherapy program harnesses the connection between people and horses to support mental health, build confidence, and strengthen communication skills. Guided by trained professionals, participants -- including children, first responders, and individuals facing trauma -- gain hands-on, meaningful tools for emotional growth and resilience in a way traditional therapy often cannot match.

This year, we are asking our community, friends, and family to come together and help us raise $40,000 to sustain our life-changing Equine Assisted Psychotherapy program.

Supporting Leg Up Farm during Give Local York helps ensure these transformative services remain accessible to families who need them most. Donations directly offset costs not covered by insurance, allowing more individuals to experience healing, build independence, and thrive in their communities.
