Mountain Grove Chapel Church of the Nazarene

Mountain Grove Chapel is a mulit -cultural church of the Nazarene who values "Worship, Devotion, Discipleship, Witness & Service"!

Our purpose is to reach those who need a relationship with Jesus and to teach them with God's Word and by our example.  Our vision is to bring an awareness of the reality of Christ to the people of our church and of the community we serve.

We want to show the love of Jesus to our communinty.  One way we do this is every Thanksgiving for the last 10 years we hand out over 100 Thanksgiving meal bags to families in York County.

We have also held free Community Fun Days which have had attendance of over 500 people.  Along with other acitivites through out the year.  

Our hope is to reach out and serve our community more. Too accomplish this we are in need of a Fellowship Center.  We are looking to raise 10% of the $300,000 that we need to build our Fellowship Center through Give Local York this year.

Our church back on the mountain in Conewago Township was built back in the late 1800's. Over the years it has been changed and added onto as the needs of the church have changed and has grown.  Praise God the church is continuing to grow as we currently serve both the English and Spanish Communities in York County.

Many things happen at Mountain Grove Chapel throughout the year, but our main priority is to teach and show the love of Jesus and pray over our families and the community.
