New Hope Ministries

For 42 years, New Hope Ministries has served as a community-based resource, providing a welcoming place where the individuals and families we serve can find support, access resources, learn new skills, feel a sense of belonging, and work to develop qualities needed for a successful life. From July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2023, our York County programs provided healthy food, basic needs assistance, and stability programs to 13,597 individuals from 5,019 families.  People turn to New Hope for help with food, basic needs like rent and heating, transportation and childcare, and finding a good-paying job to support their family. For years, New Hope Ministries has walked with the unemployed and underemployed, meeting their immediate needs while supporting their efforts to add or increase skills, achieve certification or a degree, and finding a living wage job. Our short-term goal is that people have their basic needs met. our long-term goal is that the families who receive help at New Hope find stability in their lives.
