YOU can make a difference in the life of a student! Donations to South Eastern Dollars for Scholars are used to provide scholarships to graduating seniors in order to help them achieve their dream! Over $1 million dollars in scholarships have been awarded to students through South Eastern Dollars for Scholars since 1999. That's quite an accomplishment achieved by the help of volunteers, our scholarship donors, students, and the community of South Eastern School District. Please consider helping us continue our work. Education is key to our future and because of scholarships, students are able to pursue their goals!
Donations are also critical to help us with the costs of running a nonprofit. Although there are some costs, 91% of our donations is used directly for our mission - to provide scholarships! We take pride in our mission and work. Margaret Mead said, "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has." South Eastern Dollars for Scholars has made a difference in the lives of over 900 students since 1999 awarding over $1.3 million dollars in scholarships!

Mission
The mission of South Eastern Dollars for Scholars is to expand access to higher education for resident students of the South Eastern School District in the state of Pennsylvania. As part of Scholarship America's® national network of locally-based, volunteer-driven Dollars for Scholars chapters, our mission is to mobilize our community on behalf of post-secondary education success for our students, raise funds, and distribute scholarship funds on a fair and nondiscriminatory basis.
