Since opening in York in 1990, the Women’s Care Center has been a place where women find hope when they feel most alone. And in 2018, when we opened our center at 40 South Richland Avenue, Pennsylvania’s first and only Women’s Care Center, we expanded that mission even further.
Every day scared and overwhelmed local women walk through our doors. And every day, they are met with compassion, encouragement, and someone who believes in them.
We walk with each mom from the moment she learns she’s pregnant through her baby’s early years, offering free ultrasounds, counseling, parenting classes, and a community that lifts her up.
This year, we must raise $300,000 so more moms can find the support they desperately need.

Mission
We are a pregnancy help center, serving the York Community since 1990. We opened our doors at 40 South Richland Avenue in York on January 12, 2018, as Pennsylvania's very first Womens Care Center, a nationally based organization dedicated to assisting women, babies and families. We offer free pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, crisis counseling and direct support services to other social service agencies. We also offer a variety of educational programs designed to meet the changing needs of the community we serve. These efforts are supported by a 24 hour crisis hotline. All of our services are non-judgmental, confidential and free. All donations to our Womens Care Center stay right here in York, PA.
