Our mission is to Preserve, Protect and Promote the Historical Story of the Hanover Area. We sponsor many free community events such as historical and educational lectures, family day activities and summer lawn concerts. One of our goals for 2024 is to add more youth-oriented events to encourage an interest in history in the younger members of our community. HAHS carries out our mission acquiring, preserving and interpreting historical buildings, sites, archives and artifacts. We promote the historical story of the Hanover area by showcasing our 1911-1913 Warehime-Myers Mansion, the 1783 Neas House, the Hanover Area History Museum and the Yelland Research Library & Archives. Donations support our free-to-the-public events and our youth initiative.
