Bobblehead George

Bobblehead George is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to fostering a love of learning and a passion for history through engaging educational videos. Established during the pandemic by three Northeastern Middle School teachers—David Raymond, Eric Gimbi, and Mike Graham—our initiative emerged to provide virtual access to historical sites and field trips when in-person visits were not possible. Recognizing a continued demand for innovative educational resources, we have expanded our efforts post-pandemic to support educators in creating compelling media content that captivates students. Our video series, "Lessons on the Road," not only entertains but also educates learners, from local classrooms in York to audiences nationwide and globally. Professional videographer Alex Raymond collaborates with our team to produce high-quality videos, which are shared widely through platforms such as our website, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Bluesky. We partner with esteemed historical organizations, including the York County History Center, George Washington’s Mount Vernon, James Madison’s Montpelier, Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage, and others to ensure our content is both accurate and engaging, highlighting the historical significance of these remarkable sites.
