The Catholic Charities York Outpatient Counseling office was formally established in 1928. For decades, Catholic Charities has had a presence in York County.
Our York Outpatient Counseling office is dedicated to providing access to high quality counseling and psychiatric services to children, adolescents and adults of York County. This service is available for those living in poverty, on Medicaid, with no insurance, as well as those who are under-insured. Services are provided regardless of age, race, gender, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, religion, national origin or ability to pay.
Today the program incorporates the principles of recovery and strength-based models in all of its treatment with a major focus on valuing and building on the multiple capacities of resiliency, individual talents, coping abilities and the inherent worth of every individual.
