For the Love of Dogs Rescue

FLDR returns for our second year with Give Local York! Last year's generous donations allowed us to achieve our goal and purchase a transport van to keep saving lives. This year, we have encountered many medical expenses and spent thousands on life-saving medical treatment for many of our foster dogs. Our goal is to raise money for our general fund so that we can continue to provide excellent care for our animals, and continue to offer financial support to certain dog owners who have fallen on hard times as funds allow. Who We Are

For the Love of Dogs Rescue is a 501c non-profit organization dedicated to pulling dogs from kill shelters and giving them a chance at a better life. We place dogs in temporary foster homes until they are adopted. As a non-profit we group, we depend on donations from people like you to help us care for our dogs! Most of the money received from adoption fees go back into caring for our dogs, and our many medical cases that we take in, so most of our funds come from fund raising.
