At Keystone Kidspace, we welcome all kids to be who they are and explore what they want. There are no "right answers", just new ways to do things. We encourage kids to put their own unique mark on the world.
Over the last 4 years we have served over 37,000 visitors in our building and are quite literally bursting at the seams! We recently launched our "on the road" programming to meet kids and families where they are. We're proud to visit schools with our Creative Gym assembly program and participate in community events like back to school nights, neighborhood block parties, downtown events & festivals, and STEAM outreach events. Last year we attended over 50 off-site community events reaching an estimated 4,300+ kids and families. Your donations during Give Local York will help our mission reach to more kids and families beyond our walls and in their communities, neighborhoods, and schools with the goal of igniting curiosity and creativity across York County and beyond.

Play is powerful. We understand the power of learning through play and encourage tinkering and open-ended, hands-on exploration by visitors of all ages.
Risk and failure are essential to growth. We believe in coloring outside the lines, not following directions and creating unique pathways to success. Helping kids discover and test their limits allows them to grow into resilient, confident and capable adults.
We don’t have all the answers…and that’s ok. Our team models curiosity and creative confidence for our visitors. And because children can be both student and teacher we create opportunities for them to lead and express their points of view.
It’s always a good time to throw confetti. We work to inspire wonder and delight…mixed with a bit of mischief. We like to dream big, make a mess, learn from our mistakes, and play.
We can’t do it alone. We prize collaboration over competition and value cross-sector partnerships, working across disciplines and the power of what can happen when we come together.
Our differences make us stronger. We work every day to create a genuinely welcoming and inclusive environment in our facility and in our programs.
