Kreutz Creek Library

A nonprofit organization

Building Community, Promoting Literacy, & Having Fun...

Donors like you enable the library to offer programs and resources to generations of eastern York Countians.  Here are some highlights from the past year and plans for the year to come:

  • SummerQuest 2024 broke records with 594,076 minutes of reading reported by over 800 participants.  This summer long event encourages childhood literacy and is a great way to keep engaging with kids that have come up through our pre-school story times & 1000 Books Before Kindergarten programs.
  • Clubs (gardening, chess, stitching, cooking, meditation …) and programs are available for adults to socialize and learn.  Watch for expanded programs on finance, health, safety, book authors and more.
  • Library Squad, Danger Club & Manga Book Club are programs for our Teens & Tweens.  More opportunities for them to learn, socialize and volunteer continue to be developed.  Including teen led studies on transportation options to get our young, non-drivers, to the library.

Your generous donation plays a vital role in offering resources, quality programs & services to everyone in the community.

Thank you for making this possible!     -  The Friends of Kreutz Creek Library

Mission

Thanks to your support, our library can open its doors to thousands of visitors every year.

Your support ensures that our library provides a safe gathering place for people of all ages to learn and access the resources they need. Our library is more than just books. It’s learning new technology, it’s preparing for a GED test, it’s social development in young learners, it’s having access to unlimited resources.

With your help we can continue to provide lifelong learning opportunities for everyone in our community. Your gift impacts the lives of thousands of individuals each year. You can make a difference today.

Small in size, but big on service, the Kreutz Creek Library is located right off route 462, next to the Hellam Township Municipal Building. Our staff and volunteers get to know you, what you enjoy reading, and will help you discover great new reads. We offer fun and educational programs for everyone in the family and our early childhood activities are designed to meet state educational standards.
