Give where Dreams find a Home.

I am raising money for DreamWrights because I believe every person in York deserves a place to belong. This year, our season theme is Reflections, and we are looking at how our community creates a home for creativity and growth.

The Reality: Most people are surprised to learn that ticket sales only cover one-third of our actual costs. To keep our programming inclusive and our doors open to everyone, we need to bridge that gap together.

This is my second year on the Dreamwrights Board of Directors, and I have been dazzled by all the great things I see going on around me here in this busy hive of creative activity!  Between regularly scheduled shows and youth programming, summer camps, mural painting and art gallery showings, play readings and scene builds and all the various cooperative ventures with other area arts groups - Dreamwrights is abuzz!  At a moment in history when the arts can be so easily overlooked and when the number of good causes sometimes exceeds our ability to be generous - I humbly thank you for your gift of any size.  Thank you for helping to make dreams come true, and to support live theater and artistic expression right here in our own backyard!

Our Goal: During this 24-hour Give Local York event, our goal is to raise $30,000 from 200 donors. Every gift, regardless of size, helps us reach that donor milestone and proves that the arts are a priority in York, PA.
