🐾Welcome to the most paws-itively chaotic corner of giving season—where compassion meets a little bit of friendly competition and questionable decision-making (the fun kind, we promise).
For Give Local York, our team has one mission: rally as many donors as possible to support the animals who need us most. It’s not about how much you give—it’s about showing up. Whether it’s $5 or “I just skipped my iced coffee for a cause,” every single donation helps us continue lifesaving work for animals who deserve a second chance (and maybe a third… we don’t judge).
Our team runs on equal parts heart, humor, and an alarming amount of animal hair. We’re the people who celebrate every adoption like it’s the Super Bowl, who lose sleep over sick kittens, and who absolutely will show you 400 photos of our foster animals if given the chance. We believe helping animals is always a good idea—so donating to us? Never a poor decision. In fact, it’s a purr-fectly excellent one.
