We are the Pawvengers—the adoptions and intake team at York County SPCA, alongside the people who help tell their stories and keep everything running behind the scenes. From the moment an animal arrives, to the day they go home, we are there.

For 24 hours during Give Local York, we unite with one mission: To defeat animal homelessness.

Our intake team is there in those first moments—offering gentle hands, warm blankets, and a promise: You’re safe now.
