I've been working at Community Connections for Children (CCC) for over 15 years, and I'm so proud of my organization's impact in our community.
CCC works tirelessly to offer trainings, classes, and workgroups to providers and families to help them succeed. Funds raised during Give Local York will mainly support two CCC programs: Parents as Teachers and United Way. Our Parents as Teachers program supports parents by providing resources and education on ways to enhance their parenting skills to best support their children. Our United Way program provides free Connections to Caregiving and P.A.C.E. (Providing Advanced Child Care Education) classes to York County home-based providers. These two programs encompass our vision statement and are two great examples of what CCC stands for.
