There’s something special about a place that quietly becomes part of your family’s story. For us, that place is the York County Parks system.
We’ve spent countless hours wandering through the Nixon Park, where the Nature Center and its passionate educators bring curiosity to life.
We’ve relaxed and watched the wildlife at the lakes at Kain Park, where time seems to slow down.
At Rocky Ridge County Park, we’ve found adventures under tall trees, on hikes and at the playgrounds.
There are the laughter-filled afternoons at John Rudy Park—running across open fields, playing on the playground, just being together.
Biking the miles upon miles along the Heritage Rail Trail County Park, where every stretch of trail holds a new adventure, and the free train station museums are great stops along the way.
We refreshed in the stream at Wallace-Cross Mill during their stream study, while looking for creatures and enjoying the beautiful scenery.
And there are so many more parks and memories along with them!
These parks are more than beautiful spaces—they are places where memories are made, where families grow, and where everyone, no matter their age, can find something meaningful.
I feel incredibly grateful to have such a remarkable park system right here. And that gratitude is exactly why I choose to give back. Because these parks have given my family so much, and I want to help ensure they continue to do the same for generations to come.
Please support me in giving to the most wonderful places!
