Terri's Pantry Fundraiser

This morning a man came to the door of our pantry and asked for food.  He said he only needed a few things, some meat, eggs, and dish soap.  He told us he walked to the pantry because his car broke down last week.  This gentleman has visited before.  He used to come to us regularly, but it has been awhile since we have seen him.  He's had some health struggles.  He showed me the bruise from where he fell recently.  And as I bagged up the few food items that he requested, he just kept saying, "I really appreciate this.  I really appreciate that you all are here."

Life can get really hard sometimes.  I am so thankful that Stewartstown Food Pantry exists to lend a hand, to provide relief and a sense of hope.  No one should have to go to bed hungry or worry about how to feed their family.
