The York County SPCA is more than a shelter — we’re a lifeline for thousands of pets and those who love them.

Every day, animals arrive at our doors needing safety, healing, and hope. And every day, we show up for them — because of you.

We rescue and rehome stray and displaced animals, investigate animal cruelty, advocate for those without a voice, provide critical veterinary care, and promote responsible pet ownership to create a safer, healthier community for all.

But here’s the truth: More than 70% of our funding comes from individuals like you. We do not receive support from the national ASPCA — every dollar stays here in York County.

Create a fundraiser for the YCSPCA!!

When you create a fundraiser for the YCSPCA's GLY campaign, you save the lives of animals that need the most help. It's an easy and fun way to make a big impact without a large financial commitment. Just follow these simple steps and feel great about the positive difference you are making in the lives of the animals who need our love and support more than ever.

1. Click on the fundraise button at the top of this page - Follow the steps to create your profile and set up your fundraiser.
2. Ask your family and friends to donate to your campaign on May 1 and 2. Here's a quick tip: Ask 10 people to donate $10, and you will have raised $100 for the animals. It's that easy!
3. Use this guide to help you (click here) - We've created a guide to help you with your fundraiser and have even included information to copy and paste if you don't know what to write.
